Hello ! Moi c’est Belaria; DJ, productrice et depuis plus récemment fondatrice du label Binding System.

Dans quel état d'esprit étais-tu lorsque tu as enregistré ce mix ?

Alors, au départ super mood j’étais très contente de record un podcast pour Dure Vie — puis j’ai découvert que ma table de mixage était cassée donc j’ai dû aller en urgence chez ma chère voisine Julie Désire pour rec le podcast (merci Julie !) et là j’ai découvert que je venais de casser mon ordi. Donc bon mood mais à la fois rafraîchie par ces petits imprévus technologiques ahah ! ‍

Quel serait le meilleur moment pour l'écouter ?

Pendant une bonne séance de sport ! Je pense avoir fait un mix avec pas mal de tension tout du long donc ça donne de l’énergie pour bien se défouler. ‍

Quels artistes ou labels as-tu sélectionnés et pourquoi ?

J’ai mis des tracks découverts ou reçus en promo dernièrement. Pour citer des artistes on retrouve des morceaux de Jensen Interceptor, The Hacker, Earth Trax et des labels comme Space Factory, MalaNoche ou encore RAVE-R7.

Quel est ton créneau préféré lorsque tu joues et pourquoi ?

En toute honnêteté peu importe, j’aime bien les différents créneaux, c'est des moods et des approches différentes - ce qui m’importe plus c’est d’avoir un long set qui permet de naviguer entre différents styles et proposer quelque chose de complet et cohérent. ‍

Quelles sont tes nouveautés à venir ?

Pas mal de nouveautés avec des remix, collabs et mon prochain EP qui sortira avant l’été sur mon label. Je suis super contente de ressortir enfin un plus gros projet avec dedans en plus 2 remixes d’artistes que j’adore. À suivre sur Binding System !

‍Who are you ?‍

Hello ! I’m Belaria, DJ, producer and more recently founder of the label Binding System.

What state of mind were you in when you recorded this mix ?‍

Well, at first, I was in a great mood and super excited to record a podcast for Dure Vie, then I found out my mixer was broken. I had to rush to my lovely neighbor Julie Désire's place to record the podcast (thank you Julie) and that’s when I realized I had just broken my laptop. So, good mood but definitely humbled by these little tech mishaps haha !‍

When's the best time to listen to it ?‍

During a good workout session ! I think I made a mix that keeps up a lot of tension throughout, so it gives a real boost of energy to let off some steam.‍

Which artists or labels did you select and why ?‍

I included tracks I’ve recently discovered or received as promos. To name a few, there are tracks by Jensen Interceptor, The Hacker, and Earth Trax, along with labels like Space Factory, MalaNoche and RAVE-R7. There’s also a track from my upcoming EP and our collab track with Madben. I'll let you figure out which ones !‍

What's your favorite time slot to play and why ?‍

Honestly, it doesn’t matter, I like different time slots because they each bring different vibes and approaches. What matters more to me is having a long set that lets me explore different styles and offer something complete and coherent.

What’s coming up next for you ?‍

Lots of new stuff, including remixes, collabs and my next EP which will be out before summer on my label. I’m super excited to finally release a bigger project, including two remixes by artists I absolutely love. Stay tuned on Binding System !
